A recent industry report found that 60% of institutions cannot manage their assets in one view. For many institutions, investment data still sits across statements, spreadsheets, custodians, fund administrators, and other systems, making it difficult to get a complete view of the portfolio.

MYFO started by solving this problem for family offices. We built the platform to bring complex investment data into one place, across public markets, private markets, funds, direct investments, real assets, and credit. That same infrastructure is now being applied to institutional portfolios.

The same problem, at institutional scale

The move into institutions came from the work MYFO was already doing with family offices and asset managers. The conversations kept coming back to the same issue: investment data is spread across systems, and teams need a reliable way to bring it together.

Institutions by MYFO brings the same aggregation and visibility into one system, giving investment teams a live view of their portfolios across asset classes. It also adds tools for forecasting cash flow shortfalls and scenario modeling, along with the ability to connect structured portfolio data to external AI tools through MCP. Allowing teams to use the data to plan ahead rather than simply report on what has already happened.

The platform is designed for institutions of different sizes, including larger institutions as well as smaller endowments and pension funds, and supports portfolios that span multiple currencies and jurisdictions.

What Institutions by MYFO does

Institutions by MYFO brings the core data and analytics needed to understand a complex portfolio into one place.

Aggregate investment data across asset classes. Bring public and private funds, direct holdings, real assets, credit, and other investments into one consolidated view.

See the full portfolio in one place. Understand total assets, allocations, exposures, and underlying holdings without piecing together information from multiple systems.

Forecast cash flows. Look ahead at expected cash inflows and outflows and identify potential funding needs before they become a problem.

Analyze portfolio risk. Use consolidated portfolio data to understand exposures and risk across asset classes rather than evaluating investments in isolation.

Work across currencies and jurisdictions. Manage portfolios that include assets and entities across different countries without limiting the system to a single currency.

Use structured investment data with AI. Once investment data is organized in MYFO, institutions can connect it to AI tools and use that structured data for additional analysis and workflows.

Why now

As institutional portfolios become more complex, having the data is not enough. Investment teams need to be able to bring that data together, understand what they own, and use it to make decisions about liquidity, risk, and future allocations.

Institutions by MYFO came directly from customer demand. The same aggregation and document ingestion capabilities MYFO has developed for family offices can now be used across institutional portfolios, with the added forecasting and analytics needed to plan ahead.
