MYFO founder and CEO Simran Kang has been featured in Forbes’ “Women in Wealthtech: Female Leaders Reshaping Family Office Technology.” The article, by family office contributor Francois Botha, profiles the women building the next generation of tools for family offices and private wealth.
Building what family offices were missing
Simran started MYFO after seeing first-hand how much of family office management still ran on spreadsheets, email threads and institutional tools that were never designed for families. The Forbes feature notes MYFO’s $3.5 million seed round, led by Rhino Ventures, which accelerated the company’s growth and product development.
From its base in Vancouver, MYFO has grown into a family office operating system. It consolidates financial data, documents, ownership structures and stakeholders in one secure platform, connected to banks, brokerages and private investment firms.
A growing voice for women in fintech
Women remain underrepresented in wealth technology, both as founders and as decision-makers. Simran’s recognition by Forbes reflects a broader shift: the people shaping how families manage wealth are increasingly the ones building the tools.
We’re proud to see Simran recognized alongside other leaders driving innovation in the family office space.
